Legal

Privacy Policy

This policy covers how Special Forces collects and handles information you share through the chat widget on this site. It is plain English, not legal theater.

What we collect

When you use the chat widget, the conversation content is sent to the API to generate a response. If you choose to submit a brief, we also collect your name, email address, and the details you shared about your brand and situation. We do not collect any information unless you actively send a message.

How it is used

Conversation content is used solely to generate a reply in the chat. If you confirm a brief, that summary is sent directly to Brian Allen (hello@getspecialforces.ca) so he can follow up with you. Nothing else.

Third-party processing

Conversations are processed through Anthropic's API. Anthropic may retain conversation data according to their own privacy policy. We do not control what Anthropic does with data once it is processed. If that is a concern, do not use the chat widget -- email Brian directly at hello@getspecialforces.ca.

Brief submissions

When you confirm a brief, your name, email, and the conversation summary are transmitted to Special Forces via a Vercel serverless function and delivered by email to Brian. This information is used only to respond to your inquiry. It is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.

Cookies and tracking

The chat widget does not set cookies or use any tracking pixels. The site itself may use standard analytics (e.g. page views). No behavioural profiles are built from chat conversations.

Your rights (PIPEDA)

If you are in Canada, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of any personal information we hold about you. To do any of that, email hello@getspecialforces.ca. We will respond within 30 days.
